Minimum Requirements:

Positive and professional attitude
English-speaking
Authorized to work in the United States
Ability to pass a background check
Full-time access to an insured vehicle
Smartphone required
Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, squat, twist, reach, pull, push, and lift up to 25 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally
Must be able to stand or walk for the duration of the shift
Must live within 30 minutes of the facility (Jersey Village area)

Preferred Experience:

5+ years of experience supervising janitorial teams.
Strong understanding of ISO cleaning standards and documentation requirements.
Proven ability to manage scheduling, staffing, and performance for large workforces.
Excellent communication and leadership skills; ability to coordinate across shifts and departments.
Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying operational improvements.
Proficient with scheduling tools, basic reporting, and inventory tracking systems.

Position Overview

The Janitorial Supervisor will serve as the primary point of contact for all cleaning operations within a 416,000 sq. ft. cleanroom manufacturing facility and adjacent office spaces. This role oversees a large-scale cleaning team operating in a highly regulated ISO environment, ensuring consistent performance, staffing coverage, and adherence to compliance standards.

Responsibilities & Tasks:

Serve as the primary site lead for all janitorial operations across the 400,000+ sq. ft. facility and office spaces.
Directly oversee a cleaning staff of approximately 100 employees, including two Night Shift Managers and multiple day porter leads.
Develop and manage daily and weekly schedules, adjusting labor deployment to account for absences, shift changes, or changes in cleaning demand.
Inspect, monitor, and report facility cleaning performance to ensure compliance with ISO and customer cleanliness standards.
Track and manage cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment inventory, coordinating replenishment and maintenance.
Recruit, interview, and hire janitorial staff as needed to maintain adequate coverage and performance.
Partner with janitorial leads to train and onboard employees to meet cleanroom and safety protocols.
Assist with payroll activities, including timecard approvals, attendance tracking, and shift adjustments.
Act as the primary liaison with the customer, maintaining open communication, addressing feedback, and resolving issues promptly.
Step in to perform cleaning tasks in emergency or critical situations to maintain service continuity.
Perform other managerial and administrative duties as assigned to support smooth operation of the contract.

Work Schedule:

Monday – Friday: 8 Hours per day (day shift) (Weekend and Overtime Work at times)
