Full Job Description

Valentino beauty, born in the eternal city of Rome, Is a couture/clash brand full of life and full of color. The Beauty Specialist will assist the store team in creating a memorable service experience for the client. Due to the flexible nature of the position, this role will be at various locations vs. a permanent retail store.

The vision of Valentino Beauty is to provide clients with signature elevated luxury services, exceptional makeup artistry and bold color mastery. Valentino Beauty retail makeup artists will share our values of innovation, style and self-expression, along with a passion for beauty. They will identify as personable, service-oriented, creative, social media savvy and trend conscious.

PRIOR EXPERIENCE/ COMPETENCIES

While experience in makeup artistry/previous retail makeup experience is preferred, we welcome applicants without professional level experience who demonstrate a high level of creative and technical expertise

Experience with retail, sales or customer service required

Both virtual and in person training is offered

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong drive for sales achievement with integrity

Willingness to use social media to engage with clients and drive brand awareness

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Strive to achieve and exceed personal sales goals including company specific KPIs and individual sales tracking.

Ability to work a flexible schedule, possibly including nights, weekends and/or holidays (dependent on business staffing needs.)

Create brand awareness in the intersell environment through the sharing and demonstration of strong product knowledge

Be proactive in booking appointments, maximizing every consultation, and planning and executing events

Consistently create exceptional customer service and memorable client experiences

Deliver Couture/Clash service through luxury experiences and pro artistry utilizing signature Valentino techniques

Demonstrate immaculate personal grooming standards in accordance with the Valentino grooming guidelines, inclusive of wearing provided uniform daily

QUALIFICATIONS:

You have a high school diploma or the equivalent

You possess strong written and verbal communication skills

You are comfortable performing services on customers’ faces (as necessary and when dictated by customer and business needs) after being trained on all proper protocols to do so

You have a flexible work schedule which includes nights, weekends, and holidays

Physical Environment: Must be able to work on the sales floor for extended periods, walk up and down a flight of stairs and/or ladder as necessary, and lift up to 25 lbs. on a regular basis

Hourly rates for this position range from $18-$25 hourly depending on location and experience.
