Full Job Description

LaundryGrab is a Houston-based pickup and delivery laundry and dry-cleaning company seeking a self-driven B2B Outside Sales Representative to develop new commercial accounts throughout Greater Houston.

We currently serve customers across Houston and the surrounding service area and are expanding our commercial business with companies that have recurring laundry, linen, towel, uniform, bedding, and dry-cleaning needs.

Potential clients include salons, spas, gyms, fitness studios, medical and wellness offices, boutique hotels, residential communities, nonprofits, hospitality businesses, and other local organizations.

This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity with a flexible schedule and uncapped commission potential.

You will focus on new business development: identifying prospective clients, reaching decision-makers, presenting LaundryGrab's services, following up, and closing new commercial accounts.

Once an account is closed, LaundryGrab's operations team handles pickup, cleaning, delivery, customer service, and ongoing fulfillment.

Your focus is developing relationships, closing accounts, and bringing in new business.

Compensation

This is a 100% commission-based opportunity with no base salary, hourly wage, or draw.

Commission is paid on collected service revenue from each new commercial account you personally source and close:

30% during the account's first month of paid service
20% during the account's second month of paid service
10% during the account's third month of paid service

There is no limit on the number or size of accounts you can close, and commission potential is uncapped.

Examples

For an account generating $600 per month:

Month 1: $180
Month 2: $120
Month 3: $60
Total commission: $360

For an account generating $1,200 per month:

Month 1: $360
Month 2: $240
Month 3: $120
Total commission: $720

For an account generating $2,000 per month:

Month 1: $600
Month 2: $400
Month 3: $200
Total commission: $1,200

For an account generating $4,000 per month:

Month 1: $1,200
Month 2: $800
Month 3: $400
Total commission: $2,400

Commissions are paid weekly based on customer payments collected by LaundryGrab during the prior pay period.

Commission is paid during the first three months of each new account. There are no residual commissions after the initial three-month period.

Actual earnings depend on the number, size, and activity of accounts personally sourced and closed.

Responsibilities

Identify and pursue new commercial business opportunities throughout Greater Houston.
Prospect through in-person business visits, outbound calls, email, networking, LinkedIn, referrals, and other appropriate sales channels.
Build relationships with business owners, general managers, office managers, operations leaders, and other decision-makers.
Assess each prospect's current laundry, linen, towel, uniform, bedding, or dry-cleaning needs.
Identify opportunities where LaundryGrab can save businesses time, simplify operations, or improve their current laundry process.
Present LaundryGrab's commercial services, pricing, pickup and delivery options, and service benefits.
Provide pricing using approved company rate sheets and guidelines.
Follow up consistently with prospective clients and move opportunities through the sales process.
Handle common objections and confidently ask for the business.
Negotiate within approved pricing and service guidelines.
Maintain accurate records of prospects, meetings, follow-ups, proposals, and sales activity using company-provided systems.
Coordinate the handoff of newly closed accounts to LaundryGrab's operations team.
Maintain professional communication with prospective clients throughout the sales process.

Experience & Qualifications

Previous B2B sales, outside sales, business development, territory sales, or new-account acquisition experience preferred.
Experience selling products or services to small and mid-sized businesses is strongly preferred.
Comfortable conducting in-person prospecting and approaching businesses to reach owners and decision-makers.
Confident making outbound calls, following up with prospects, presenting pricing, handling objections, and asking for the sale.
Self-motivated and able to independently manage your prospecting activity and schedule.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
Organized and consistent with sales follow-up.
Familiar with the Greater Houston area.
Reliable transportation for local business visits.
Access to a laptop or computer, smartphone, and reliable internet connection.
Comfortable using email, online prospecting tools, and basic sales technology.

Experience in any of the following industries is a strong plus:

Commercial cleaning or janitorial services
Uniform or linen services
Facility services
Hospitality services or supplies
Medical or healthcare services
Fitness or gym-related sales
Beauty, salon, or spa industry sales
Foodservice or business supply distribution
Merchant services
Payroll or HR services
Telecommunications
Other recurring B2B service sales

Commercial laundry experience is not required. We are more interested in finding someone who knows how to prospect, build relationships, and close new business.
