About the Position

LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Optometry MD in Texas!

We are seeking a dedicated Optometrist for a 5-day assignment in Texas, starting Oct 19, 2026. The schedule involves 8am - 5pm shifts, focusing on comprehensive eye exams, retina checks, prescribing and updating eyeglasses prescriptions, and diabetic eye exams. Ophthalmology cases will be transferred out to specialists.

Responsibilities and Duties

Perform comprehensive eye exams
Conduct retina checks
Prescribe and update eyeglasses prescriptions
Perform diabetic eye exams
Transfer ophthalmology cases to specialists as needed
