Ekstensive Metal Works is looking for a creative, driven, and motivated Social Media Manager to showcase our craftsmanship, tell our story, and help grow our brand. What You'll Do
As our Social Media Manager, you'll be responsible for creating compelling content that highlights our craftsmanship, people, projects, and company culture while helping strengthen the Ekstensive Metal Works brand.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a social media strategy across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
- Capture high-quality photos and videos of fabrication projects, shop operations, installations, customer projects, and company events.
- Produce engaging short-form videos, reels, promotional videos, and behind-the-scenes content.
- Create compelling captions, project stories, blogs, and marketing copy.
- Maintain a rolling 30-day content calendar.
- Schedule and publish content across all company platforms.
- Monitor engagement, respond to comments and messages, and help build our online community.
- Coordinate customer testimonials, employee spotlights, recruiting campaigns, and project success stories.
- Work directly with Bill Carlton and company leadership to identify new marketing opportunities and promotional campaigns.
- Travel to job sites, events, and project locations as needed to capture content.
- Maintain an organized digital library of photos, videos, graphics, and marketing assets.
- Stay current with social media trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.

The ideal candidate will take ownership of Ekstensive Metal Works' digital presence and continually look for new ways to strengthen our brand.

- Consistently create high-quality content that reflects the craftsmanship and professionalism of Ekstensive Metal Works.
- Maintain a rolling 30-day marketing and content pipeline.
- Keep all digital assets organized and backed up to company storage.
- Proactively identify new marketing ideas and growth opportunities.
- Collaborate effectively with leadership.
- Meet agreed-upon content and marketing goals.
- Represent the company professionally both online and in person.
Weekly Reporting
Provide a weekly marketing report to Bill Carlton outlining:
- Content created and published during the week
- Photography and video completed
- Marketing initiatives currently underway
- Upcoming projects and content in the pipeline
- Social media performance highlights and analytics
- Recommendations for improving engagement, lead generation, and brand awareness
Qualifications
We're looking for someone who is:
- Creative, energetic, and self-motivated
- Organized with exceptional attention to detail
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating with leadership
- Passionate about photography, videography, storytelling, and branding
- An excellent communicator with strong writing and editing skills
- Professional, dependable, and eager to learn
- Excited to help build one of the most recognizable metal fabrication brands in Texas
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in social media, marketing, communications, or content creation
- Photography and videography experience
- Experience creating short-form video content
- Video editing experience using CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar software
- Experience with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
- Familiarity with Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, and social media analytics
- Experience updating websites or using content management systems is a plus
- Experience in construction, manufacturing, fabrication, automotive, industrial, or skilled trades is preferred but not required

Additional Expectations
- Maintain a professional appearance and represent Ekstensive Metal Works with integrity and professionalism.
- Possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Be willing to travel to project sites, customer locations, and company events to capture content.
- Flexibility is important in this role, as occasional early mornings, evenings, or special events may require content capture outside normal business hours.
- Maintain a well-organized library of digital assets and ensure all content is stored on company-approved systems.
- All photography, videography, graphics, written content, marketing materials, social media content, advertising campaigns, AI-assisted content created within the scope of employment, and other creative work produced for Ekstensive Metal Works are the exclusive property of the company.
- All company social media accounts, websites, digital platforms, advertising accounts, marketing software, login credentials, and associated digital assets remain under the ownership and control of Ekstensive Metal Works.
- Employment is contingent upon signing the company's Employment Agreement, Confidentiality Agreement, and Intellectual Property Agreement.
Schedule:
Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 10 per week
