Software Quality Assurance Analyst

Duties: Provide consulting support in the Software Quality Assurance area at various unanticipated client sites in USA; Depending on specific client RFP/specs, services at client sites may include one, or more, or all, of the following: Product / Software / Load / Network / Database / Application / Web / Implementation / customization / validation / development / enhancement / system / integration / smoke testing, to meet customer business requirements leveraging Waterfall or Agile / Scrum Methodologies; Analyze complex application problems and document defects, questionable functions, errors and inconsistencies in Integration software program functions, outputs, online screens, and content using independent judgment; Responsible for creating, maintaining and executing detailed use cases, test plans for the integrated products according to specifications; Communicate test progress, test results and other relevant information to management during ongoing projects; Prepare and deliver report test metrics as requested; Become a functional expert for the assigned integrated products including associated tools and processes; Contribute to knowledge capital via project documentation and best practice solutions; Maintain and grow knowledge of Quality Assurance functionality and technical skills; Work involves travel/relocation to various unanticipated client sites across USA.

Requirements: Applicants need to have a Bachelor’s (or Foreign Equivalent) in Computers or Information Technology Field and 2 years of experience in computer / information technology domain working as Software Quality Assurance Analyst.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS: Experience in Insurance and Telecom domains using automation and manual testing methods leveraging Agile / Scrum and Waterfall approach; Experience in testing both Client Server and Web applications using automation and manual; Experience of SQL, PL SQL, Java / J2EE; Experience in Data encryption and JAVA XML Based testing; Experience in Orthogonal Array for testing; Experience in LEAN & Six Sigma methodologies; Knowledge of Selenium, VB Scripting, PERL; RTC & RRC tool experience for change control management for Requirements/Testing artifacts; Experience with IBM Rational Requisite Pro for Requirement and Use case mapping; Experience in Microsoft / HP Mercury / Ruby and Cucumber products and tools; Experience with Microsoft Explorer Development tool for User Interface testing; To produce and report test metrics to Sr. Management; Experience in Quality Center, Bugzilla, or other defect tracking system; Experience in SOAP UI testing; Experience with Full Lifecycle of SDLC / ALM; Integration testing across multiple applications; Analyze and dissect system requirements and technical specifications to create and execute test cases for large business initiatives.
