Full Job Description

Position: Technical Accounting Consultant

Compensation: $ 40 - 60 /hour, depending on experience

Location: Houston, Texas

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Technical Accounting Consultant to join their team!

This is a strong opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys high-impact project work. You’ll support a 3-month ERP-related initiative focused on revenue accounting, reconciliations, and financial validation during a system transition. If you thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy ensuring accuracy during complex conversions, this role offers a chance to make an immediate difference.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

Perform heavy revenue reconciliations and validation work
Review general ledger activity and legacy account balances
Support account mapping and coding during ERP transition
Validate revenue and gross margin accuracy
Help maintain data integrity during system conversion
Partner with teams to resolve accounting discrepancies

Required Qualifications & Experience:

Accounting degree required
Strong revenue accounting experience
Solid general ledger and reconciliation knowledge
ERP implementation or system conversion experience
Experience with account mapping and financial validation
Ability to work onsite full time
Comfort working in a fast-paced project environment

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

Experience supporting major ERP conversions
Background in gross margin analysis
Exposure to legacy system cleanup
Project-based accounting experience
