Full Job Description

Front End Associate

milk + sugar is a family owned and operated artisan ice cream shop. This is a part-time position and your responsibilities would include performing a variety of duties to support the restaurant’s daily operations like serving customers and keeping the restaurant in order. The most important job of this position is to be able to work quickly and efficiently to ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely manner, either while working as a team or alone. You should be able to multitask while maintaining focus, pay attention to detail, and follow instructions. If you’re willing to put in the effort to make our front-of-house team successful, we’d like to meet you. We have a great work culture who respect their staff in a positive environment. You need to be self-motivated, good at multi-tasking and know how to prioritize duties. It can be fast-paced at times, but customer service should never suffer. We guarantee each shift you will make at least $12/hour (base+tips), your average hourly pay on your paycheck will be higher than this. If you're looking for a fun job, you're a fast learner and an extrovert - we'd love to meet you!

Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years of age
Must have a high school diploma or GED
Must have reliable transportation
Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
Must pass drug and background check
Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
Ability to work overtime as needed
Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
Ability to work on feet for extended periods of time
Ability to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers both written and verbally
Ability to follow instructions in written, oral, diagram or schedule form

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $8.00 per hour
