Receptionist / Recruiting Assistant - Bilingual

Starting Pay Rate: $16 -$18/hour DOE

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.

Permanent / Full Time

PrideStaff Houston is currently looking to hire a Front Desk Receptionist / Recruiter for our Northeast Houston office . This position will be part of a sales, recruiting and placement team, and focus specifically on administrative, clerical, and light industrial recruitment and client development. PrideStaff Recruiters connect clients and job seekers through sales and recruiting efforts, and successfully matching talented professionals with top companies in the area.

Primary Responsibilities:

Front Desk Receptionist , be the first person to answer incoming telephone calls and greet visitors.
Screen applicant resumes and determine candidates who are best fit for job opportunities
Conduct phone interviews and schedule/conduct in person interviews
Guide applicants through the onboarding process.
Accurately input all necessary candidate information into Bullhorn our applicant tracking system.
Ensure quality service by handling Client and employee matters courteously, properly and efficiently.
Prepare Candidate resumes and submit properly vetted and qualified candidates to clients
Schedule candidates for client interviews.
Process employment verifications and documents in Bullhorn.
Perform other related duties as deemed necessary by the General Manager
Conduct background and reference checks on potential employees.
Make Sales Calls to potential clients

If you have good computer skills and customer service skills and are able to multi-task in fast paced environment then we will train.

Qualifications:

Candidates should have a basic understanding of light industrial job roles and have the ability to match candidate qualifications from resumes with job description requirements.
Ability to Speak/Read/Write both English and Spanish is highly preferred.
Ability to muli-task and determine where to focus efforts to best meet business priorities.
Pleasant and polite phone etiquette.

Education and Experience

HS Diploma or GED is required
High level of computer literacy is required
Experience in Recruiting for light industrial and clerical positions is highly preferred

Language Skills

Must be able to communicate in English and Spanish fluently in writing and verbally
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and procedure manuals.
Be able to read job descriptions and interpret matching requirements in candidate resumes

Reasoning Ability

Ability to make decisions of sound judgment according to company policy.
Ability to deal with problems involving clients or employees.
Ability to review candidate experience and qualifications and client job requirements to determine best fit.
