Full Job Description

Haulmark Services is a family run business with over 28 years of experience providing a variety of trucking, brokerage, and supply chain solutions to a diverse range of industries. We currently transport a wide array of commodities; including refrigerated, temperature protected, manufactured goods, chemicals, specialty, and heavy-haul transport throughout the continental U.S. The ideal candidate loves dogs and has relevant experience within the supply chain and logistics industry.

Full-time: Monday - Friday (7:30a-4:30p)

Responsibilities

Daily telemarketing to secure new business for both the brokerage division as well as our trucking division
Supplying rates and rate information to prospects and existing customers
Performing On-Call Rotation
Selecting reputable, qualified carriers to transport and make on time pickup and deliveries of customer's freight
Dispatching drivers
Maintaining a portion of Haulmark’s existing accounts
Overseeing day-to-day movement of customers' freight.
Monitoring account productivity
Accurately entering loads into Haulmark TMS
Accurately notating and color-coding Load Sheets as transit status progresses
Drafting KPI and forecast reports for supervisors
Attending Department Meetings
Ensuring other departments have all relevant and necessary information to perform their responsibilities
Acting as liaison between Admin and Department Supervisors
Assisting Managers/Supervisors as directed
Knowing terms of key customer contracts and ensuring Haulmark is operating within the terms of our agreements.
Understanding Haulmark service options to advise customers regarding their shipping needs.

Qualifications

Logistics background required
Solid oral and written communication skills
Exceptional attention to detail
Stable tenure in previous positions
B2B customer service experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software/Applications
Team player with strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

LTL or FTL Experience
Proficiency with a TMS (any kind)
Call Center Experience
