Role Summary
The Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by developing new business opportunities, strengthening referral partnerships, and managing the complete sales cycle from prospecting through project completion. This role combines business development, customer engagement, on-site inspections, estimating, proposal presentation, and closing while maintaining a strong pipeline of revenue-generating opportunities.
The Sales Manager works closely with company leadership to expand GF Installations & Wood Restoration's presence throughout the Houston market while representing both the Renew Medic and Furniture Medic brands with professionalism and integrity.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Relationship Management
- Generate new business through in-person prospecting, networking, referrals, and relationship development.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with:
- Insurance carriers
- Insurance adjusters
- Restoration contractors
- Mitigation companies
- General contractors
- Home builders
- Architects
- Interior designers
- Architecture & Design firms
- Property managers
- Commercial clients
- Identify new revenue opportunities and expand existing customer relationships.
- Represent GF Installations & Wood Restoration at networking events, industry meetings, and customer visits.
Sales Process
- Perform site inspections and customer consultations.
- Prepare accurate estimates and proposals.
- Present estimates and negotiate contracts.
- Follow up on outstanding proposals.
- Close new business opportunities.
- Secure signed work authorizations.
- Conduct final project walkthroughs when necessary.
- Coordinate project handoffs with operations.
Sales Management
- Maintain accurate CRM records and monitor sales activity.
- Track pipeline development and sales performance.
- Ensure estimates are accurate, profitable, and delivered on time.
- Manage marketing materials and sales resources.
- Consistently develop new referral relationships that generate recurring business.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in outside sales, estimating, business development, or construction sales.
- Experience in restoration, cabinetry, construction, remodeling, insurance restoration, or related industries preferred.
- Proven ability to generate self-sourced leads.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Experience using CRM systems and estimating software.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to travel throughout the Greater Houston area.

Schedule
This is a full-time position with standard business hours:
- Monday through Friday
- 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
