Job Summary
As a server at Liberty Kitchen, you have the protentional to earn up to $43.00 an hour. We truly care about providing a memorable and hospitable experience. Our servers are always welcoming and accommodating to our guests, with the ability to educate and guide their experience to create lasting memories. You have a desire to expand your knowledge of our offerings and be creative with your recommendations, using suggestive selling where appropriate. You work quickly, love being part of a team and are capable of solving problems in stride.

Responsibilities

Staying updated on current menu choices, specialties and menu edits
Presenting menus, suggesting dishes, assisting in drink selection, informing guests about food preparation details
Maintaining proper dining experience, delivering items, fulfilling customer needs, offering desserts and drinks, removing courses, replenishing utensils, refilling glasses
Properly open and pour wine at the tableside
Performing basic cleaning tasks as needed
Assisting with special events as needed
Greet all guests in a hospitable and warm manner
Understand and communicate all products and services available
Must have some familiarity with basic food knowledge
Commit to delivering high levels of customer service
Practice appropriate/required safety and sanitation procedures at all times
Handling cash and credit transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to guests.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED
Minimum of 1 year of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant
Able to multi-task
Ability to stand for long period so time, lift 25 lbs., and bend, climb or work in confined spaces
Customer service focused and solution oriented
Must enjoy and be able to succeed in a fast-paced work environment
Ability to work a flexible schedule based on restaurant needs
Food Handler & TABC Certifications required
