Job Overview
Local, shuttle of customer cargo on an RGN or Flatbed.
Monday to Friday- day shift (some weekends as required)
In this role, you will operate specialized units designed for oversized and heavy loads, ensuring timely and secure transportation of equipment, machinery, and other large cargo.
We are looking for experienced over size load drivers requiring a CDL license with manual transmission experience.
Must have the experience and ability to work with RGN & Flatbed type trailers.

Duties
- MANUAL TRANSMISSIONS
- Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or crane assistance when necessary
- Plan routes meticulously to navigate through permits, road restrictions, and safety considerations for oversized cargo
- Secure loads properly on flatbed trailer, or other specialized trailers to prevent shifting or damage during transit
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety standards are met and report any issues promptly
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, load details, inspections, and delivery documentation in compliance with DOT regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and law enforcement during route planning or in case of emergencies
Skills
- Proven experience with a focus on oversize or heavy haul transportation
- Proficiency in operating manual transmission trucks
- Familiarity with a variety of trailer types including various flatbed and RGN types
- Strong knowledge of load securing techniques and safety protocols for freight handling
- Ability to navigate using route planning tools while adhering to transportation regulations and permits for oversized loads
- Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and compliance with DOT standards
- Physical capability to load/unload freight manually or with equipment such as forklifts; ability to handle physically demanding tasks
- Must pass DOT drug testing requirements, with clear drivers and criminal records

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
