Full Job Description

We are looking for a full-time, entry-level medical assistant at our Memorial office, located at 915 Gessner Rd.

This is a full time clinical position and requires a minimum commitment of 12 consecutive months. Medical Assistants must be available to work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, as well as Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. We are not able to offer externships, part time, or short term positions at this time. Gap year applicants are welcome, provided the full 12 month commitment and schedule availability can be met.

Our Medical Assistants work hands on with patients and play an essential role in supporting both providers and families during each visit. Daily responsibilities include rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, administering vaccinations, performing in house tests, administering medications, and assisting with patient flow throughout the clinic. This is a clinical role and does not involve front office duties.

This position may be a great fit if you enjoy working with children and parents, take pride in providing excellent patient care, stay organized and self motivated, and bring a positive attitude to a busy, team oriented environment. We value Medical Assistants who are compassionate, dependable, and eager to learn.

This role is often a valuable stepping stone for individuals considering future education or training in healthcare, such as nursing, physician assistant, or medical school, while still requiring a strong commitment to patient care and teamwork during the full term of employment.

This is a unique opportunity for a motivated, personable, and articulate individual who is interested in building clinical experience in a pediatric setting. Previous experience or certification as a Medical Assistant is not required, and we are happy to train the right candidate. Experience with eClinicalWorks is a plus.
