Outside sales and pipeline-building experience preferred.

CertaPro Painters of Central and Northeast Houston is looking for a Commercial Sales Associate who’s hungry, relationship-driven, and motivated to build long-term commercial business.

We need someone who enjoys getting out in the field, prospecting, meeting decision-makers, and building relationships that turn into repeat business. This role is ideal for someone who is self-motivated, competitive, and excited by the upside of uncapped commission.

The right person will proactively build relationships with property managers, facility managers, HOAs, healthcare facilities, business owners, and commercial contacts throughout the market.

Please only apply if you can easily commute within the Central/Northeast Houston area.

What You’ll Do:

Service inbound, warm leads ~50% of the time)
Build and develop new commercial relationships (~50% of the time)
Prospect consistently through networking, cold outreach, association meetings, and in-person visits
Identify and connect with decision-makers across commercial properties and facilities
Build and maintain a healthy pipeline through ongoing follow-up and relationship management
Attend networking events, association meetings, lunches, and community events
Generate painting estimates using our software (we’ll train you)
Manage projects from sale through production to completion
Conduct production visits and maintain communication with clients throughout the project
Work closely with crews and production teams to ensure smooth execution
Continue prospecting consistently — even while managing active jobs and estimates
Become the “go-to” painter clients call first when projects arise

What We’re Looking For:

Motivated by performance, growth, and income potential
Strong hunter mentality with a natural drive to prospect and build relationships
Comfortable walking into businesses, introducing yourself, and creating opportunities
Self-starter who does not need constant supervision or micromanagement
Organized and responsive with strong follow-through
High energy and comfortable talking with anyone
Able to balance sales activity, follow-up, estimating, and production oversight
Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment with variable income tied to performance
Spanish-speaking ability REQUIRED

Compensation:

$45K Base salary + uncapped commission
Quarterly and yearly bonus structure
Health insurance
401K with 3% match
Realistic first-year earnings: $70K–$110K+ annually
Higher performers can exceed earnings expectations
Commission structure rewards repeat commercial relationships and long-term account growth
You earn commission on the first job you sell, and you continue to earn full commission on future jobs that the same customer purchases. We want you to build long-term commercial relationships, and our compensation structure rewards that.
