Full Job Description

We are seeking a polished, service-oriented Wellness Concierge Medical Assistant (MA) to join our team.

Monday - Friday 9:00am - 4:30pm (35-40 hours per week) , with possibility of increased hours

Primary Focus: Customer Service & Pharmacy Clerk Operations

Secondary Focus: Wellness Center Support

This role is customer-service–forward, functioning primarily as a pharmacy clerk and front-line patient liaison, with secondary support to our wellness and aesthetic services.

This position is ideal for an MA who excels in communication, organization, and high-touch client care, and who enjoys working in a fast-paced, boutique healthcare environment. Must hold an active Texas MA license and carry individual malpractice insurance.

Position Overview:
As a Wellness Concierge Medical Assistant,your primary responsibility is to deliver exceptional customer service within the pharmacy setting—supporting prescription workflow, patient communication, scheduling, and front-desk operations.

Secondarily, you will assist the Wellness Center with post-visit coordination, follow-ups, and concierge-level support for aesthetic and wellness clients. This role offers flexible scheduling, a supportive team environment, and exposure to an innovative pharmacy and wellness model.

Key Responsibilities:

Primary Responsibilities – Pharmacy & Customer Service

Serve as a front-facing pharmacy clerk and patient concierge
Greet patients, answer phones, and respond to texts/emails professionally
Assist with prescription intake, status updates, and patient coordination
Schedule pharmacy and wellness appointments
Process payments, memberships, and service inquiries
Provide clear, professional communication regarding services and next steps
Support patient retention through reminders, outreach, and follow-up communication
Coordinate with pharmacists and clinical staff to escalate concerns appropriately

Secondary Responsibilities – Wellness Center Support

Conduct post-procedure and post-appointment follow-ups
Educate patients on wellness and aesthetic services, memberships, and aftercare
Assist with client coordination for wellness and aesthetic visits
Recommend complementary services based on patient goals (non-clinical)
Support a high-touch, concierge-style client experience

Requirements:

Current Texas Medical Assistant (MA) license (required)
Active individual malpractice insurance (required by time of hire)
Minimum 2 years of experience in a medical office, pharmacy, wellness, or concierge healthcare setting
Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills
Professional, polished demeanor with high emotional intelligence
Experience in wellness, med spa, concierge medicine, or pharmacy settings preferred
EMR and CRM experience preferred
Comfortable working in a hybrid pharmacy–wellness environment
