Mercury Imports is seeking experienced, entrepreneurial sales professionals to represent a growing portfolio of premium wine and spirits brands throughout the Greater Houston market. Current beverage alcohol industry professionals, former distributor representatives, independent sales professionals, and top performing B2B sales consultants are strongly encouraged to apply.
This is not a traditional salaried sales position.

Mercury Imports is a Houston based importer and distributor specializing in premium wine and spirits brands. We work closely with suppliers, retailers, restaurants, bars, and hospitality operators to build brands and create long term market success.
As our portfolio continues to grow, we are expanding our sales team throughout the Greater Houston area.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Develop and grow sales within assigned territories
- Open new retail and on premise accounts
- Maintain and expand relationships with existing customers
- Generate reorders and long term account growth
- Conduct in person sales presentations and product tastings
- Represent supplier brands at events, activations, and market visits
- Build strong relationships with decision makers throughout the beverage alcohol industry
- Identify new business opportunities and market trends

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- 1 to 3 years of B2B sales experience required
- Beverage alcohol industry experience preferred
- Existing relationships with liquor stores, bars, restaurants, country clubs, and hospitality operators are a plus
- Proven ability to generate new business
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- Self starter mentality
- Highly motivated and goal oriented
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong organizational and time management skills
REQUIREMENTS
- Reliable transportation is required
- Ability to travel throughout the Greater Houston area
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to conduct regular in person sales calls
