Bilingual Medical Assistant

Texas Endovascular Associates | Katy, TX
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour | Full-Time

About the Role

This is not your typical Medical Assistant position. At Texas Endovascular, our MAs are true clinical partners — actively involved in procedures, patient education, and documentation alongside our physicians. You will work in a fast-paced, high-functioning environment where no two days look exactly alike, and where your contributions directly impact patient outcomes.

This position is permanently based at our Katy location at 1331 W. Grand Parkway N., Suite 210, Katy, TX 77493.

Please Note: During your first 30 days, training will take place at either our Webster or Bellaire location. Reliable transportation to those sites during the onboarding period is required. After training is complete, you will transition fully to the Katy office and cover other offices as needed when short-staffed.

What You'll Do

Clinical Support & Patient Care

Room patients, obtain and document vitals, and review medical histories
Prepare sterile trays for vein and interventional procedures
Assist physicians directly during clinical procedures
Provide patient education and explain procedures, risks, and follow-up instructions clearly — in both English and Spanish

Clinical Documentation

Accurately and thoroughly document patient visits and procedures in real time, including medical history, physical exam findings, physician orders, diagnoses, prescriptions, and patient education
Identify errors or inconsistencies in medical documentation and alert the physician when charts are incomplete
Collect, organize, and catalog data for physician quality reporting

Administrative & Operational Support

Make and receive patient phone calls with professionalism and care
Assist with procedure scheduling
Maintain physical inventory of medical supplies and restock exam rooms as needed

What You Bring

Required:

Minimum 1 year of medical office experience
Fluency in English and Spanish
Strong clinical documentation skills and attention to detail
Reliable transportation to Webster or Bellaire for the first 30 days of training
A collaborative, positive attitude with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Preferred:

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent certification
Experience with athenahealth EMR
Background in interventional radiology, vascular, or procedural specialties
