Division/Department: Accounting

Location: Spiral Industries 1572 North Old U.S. 23 Howell, Michigan, 48843

Job Title: Bookkeeper

Reports to: CEO

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

This position will be responsible for providing financial and administrative services.

WORK FUNCTION REQUIREMENTS / TASKS

· Maintain all financial data in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles

· Manage all U.S. accounting operations including invoicing, A/R, A/P, and G/L

· Provide timely and accurate monthly financial statements

· Prepare year-end adjusted financial statements for tax preparation

· Cash management responsibility including cash flow analysis and weekly cash projections

· Oversee Accounting system

· Provide accounting for company- related investments

· Contract Administration

· Interface with clients on accounting matters

· Manage U.S. insurance policies

· Provide backup for all accounting and office positions and backup for purchasing

TRAINING AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS / WORK HISTORY

· Accounting Degree

· Minimum of 3 Years’ accounting experience required

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills required

· Must have strong computer skills

· Experience with Great Plains, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Management Reporter
