Looking for two drivers, one for each shift.
Days = Monday - Thursday 6am - 4:30 pm and Friday - Saturday 6am - 2:30pm
Afternoons = Monday - Friday 4:30pm - 3am and Friday - Saturday 2:30pm - 11pm
Responsible for (but not limited to) the storage, tracking, receiving, and delivering of raw materials, components, and finished product. Operate yard truck to move trailers within the Korex property and between Korex, Annex and offsite warehouses.
Essential Functions of the Job

- Physically compare accuracy of inventory location, quality, and count.
- Verify label for accuracy.
- Identify and replace damaged pallets and/or product.
- Condense partial pallets of raw materials, components, and finished product.
- Physically group similar raw materials, components, and finished product together in specified storage locations.
- Perform computer inquiries in order to adjust, locate, ship, and receive inventory.
- Always use FIFO when placing material in racks or removing material from rack locations. Responsible for overall cleanliness in the warehouse.
- Ensure discarded stretch wrap and banding are removed.
- Sweep & empty trash receptacles.
- Remove empty pallets from warehouse floor.
- Cover finished product with dust covers to prevent residue build-up.
- Ensure good manufacturing practices are used for the storage of raw materials, components, and finished product.
- Repair or replace any damaged sacks which contain powder.
- Repair or replace any damaged cases of finished product.
- Use air hoses to blow off any dust/dirt from finished product before loading on a truck, and from components before delivery to the production floor.
- Add extra pallet for heavy sacks before putting in rack
- Inspect trailers for cleanliness, leaks, or odors prior to loading/unloading.
- Guarantee thorough inspection procedures are followed for all raw materials, components and finished product.
- Verify pallet pattern is accurate on all finished product.
- Verify case code is accurate and visible on all 4 sides of pallet.
- Conduct daily pre-trip inspection of trucks and tanks.
- Move trailers in and out of dock doors and to and from the yard.
- Move trailers and tankers between Korex, Annex and offsite warehouses.
- Maintain trailer movement log.
- Verify that trailers are chocked and the brakes are set prior to loading/unloading.
- Must be skilled in maneuvering trailers in tight, limited space.
- Conduct pre-trip inspection of Hi-Lo daily.
- Identify and resolve unsafe conditions.
- Wear safety glasses, and carry PPE at all times.
- Verify that trailers are chocked and the brakes are set prior to loading/unloading.
- Incorporate Korex safety policies and procedures into daily activities.
- Safely place components and raw materials on production line and processing location.
- Load stretchwrap into all stretch wrappers.
- Remove finished product from production lines and place on stretch wrappers.
- Pull wrapped, complete pallet from stretch wrapper and bring to ICO tunnel for scanning.
- Scan once to check accuracy of label, and twice to complete. Place pallet in the proper location in the warehouse.
- Pull requested material from designated warehouse location (as listed on the Get Ticket) using FIFO. Identify label on the get ticket and turn into ICO. Deliver to proper location and log information on move sheet.
- Get paperwork from Traffic Clerk, verify trailer number prior to loading/unloading.
- Pull finished product, using FIFO as listed on the paperwork when shipping, and rotate stock of inbound material so that the older material is always in front.
- For shipping- scan picklist number, inspect trailer for cleanliness, load material onto trailer, scan labels as they are being loaded, complete information on the paperwork (names of puller, loader, scanner, and number of wheels chocks), verify information on the paperwork (amount/type of material shipped).
- For receiving - pull appropriate number of blank labels, check printout for current location of older material, input information on the computer (PO number, BOL number, trailer number, carrier name, and total quantity), scan blank labels, and sample all inbound raw materials.
- Return completed paperwork to Traffic Clerk for shipping and to ICO for receiving.
- Turn on the automatic palletizer and conveyors to get the lines started.
- Load pallets into pallet ejector; pull finished product from conveyors and place on the automatic palletizer.
- Pull labels for finished product, load stretch wrap into wrapper, and change pallet patterns on the automatic palletizer.
- Label finished product, put away in appropriate rack location and logon to move sheet.
- Provide direction to the hand palletizers.
- Repair mechanical breakdowns to palletizer.
- The worker is required to wear all safety protective equipment required by The Korex Corporation and/or the State of Michigan - Department of Labor.

Skill/ Knowledge Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Intermediate math skills
- Basic computer skills
- Minimum 1-year previous Hi-Lo experience
- Michigan Driver License
- Michigan Commercial Driver License (CDL)
-Have or willing to obtain HazMat and Tanker Endorsements within 30 days of hire
- Medical Card (DOT Card)

Working Conditions
The worker is subject to:
- Both inside and outside environmental conditions.

Pay: $25.61 - $30.85 per hour
