Entry-Level Gunsmith / Firearms Technician
Full-Time | On-Site | Hudson, Florida
Are you mechanically inclined and enjoy working with precision parts, tools, and metal components? We're looking for an Entry-Level Gunsmith / Firearms Technician to join our growing team.
No prior gunsmithing experience is required—we provide hands-on training. However, applicants with experience in machining, metalworking, fabrication, manufacturing, automotive repair, CNC operation, assembly, welding, maintenance, or similar mechanical trades are strongly encouraged to apply.

What You'll Do
- Build, inspect, repair, and modify handguns
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Perform firearm assembly, fitting, and quality inspections
- Assist with customization work, including trigger upgrades, sight installations, and performance enhancements
- Maintain detailed documentation for quality control and compliance
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workstation
- Work with precision tools and components while maintaining strict quality standards
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with metal components, machining equipment, fabrication tools, or mechanical assemblies
- Automotive, aerospace, manufacturing, CNC machining, welding, maintenance, armorer, or related experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to use hand tools, measuring tools, and shop equipment safely
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn
No firearms experience? That's okay. We can teach firearms-specific skills to candidates who already possess strong mechanical fundamentals and a desire to learn.

Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Range: $16–$20 per hour based on experience, mechanical aptitude, and skill level
- 90-day introductory period with strict attendance expectations
- PTO earned after 6 months of employment
- Attendance bonus after probation

Schedule
- Monday–Friday
- During probation: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- After probation: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Daily lunch break required (30 minutes to 1 hour)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs
- Good hand dexterity and vision for precision work
- Comfortable working around machinery, tools, and firearms
Legal / Compliance Requirements
- Must be legally eligible to work in the United States
- Must be able to legally possess firearms under federal law
- Must be able to pass a background check
