BAE Systems is currently seeking a creative, innovative problem solver who are able to analyze, assess, anticipate, defend, and react to current and future attacks. Candidate should be capable of managing a team that is designing and implementing innovative protection schemes with rapidly evolving technologies used in various applications throughout the company.

Our Section Managers do a lot of amazing things, but for this role in particular you will:

Manage a team of 10-15 engineers
Help design security architectures based on requirements from your analysis of adversary threats and proposed countermeasures
Shape capability group policy and governance
Contribute to both near and long term technical roadmap objectives
Liaise with customers and other external entities

Because of the need for consistent, inperson collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

This role requires stong interpersonal skills and leadership abilities.
This role involves understanding systems engineering techniques and processes and requires a bachelor’s degree plus ten or more years of work experience.
Additional critical skills include:
- Leading an Engineering Team
- Writing System Requirements
- Defining System Architectures
- Integrating Hardware and Software
- Validating and Verifying the delivered solution
- Championing Model Based Systems Engineering Adoption

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
We are very interested in candidates with 10 plus years or experience and any of the following experience:

Section/Team lead experience
Anti-Tamper domain knowledge
Cryptographic algorithm knowledge
Performance tracking and management
Embedded systems development
Model-Based Systems Engineering using Cameo or MagicDraw
Developing positive customer relationships
Product design development and design analysis for manufacturability and maintainability
Championing AI adoption

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $149603 - $254317

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
