At On Cloud Canine (OCC), we’re more than just a pet care service—we’re a community of animal advocates dedicated to enhancing the physical, emotional, and mental well-being of pets while supporting and educating their owners. Our mission is to provide gentle, compassionate, and high-quality care for every pet, and to create a welcoming, supportive environment for both pets and people.

As our Customer Care Specialist you’ll be the first friendly face our clients and their pets see, helping to create a positive experience that reflects OCC’s values every day.

Key Responsibilities: Client Experience & Front Desk Operations

Serve as the welcoming face of OCC, greeting clients and pets with warmth and professionalism.
Manage daycare check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
Provide accurate, friendly guidance on services, schedules, and policies.
Respond promptly and professionally to phone calls, emails, and general inquiries.
Assist clients with forms, waivers, scheduling, and account questions.

Administrative & Facility Support

Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting front-of-house area that reflects OCC’s brand and values.
Update and manage client and pet profiles in our software system.
Process payments, issue credits, and assist with billing or invoice questions.
Communicate important client notes, behavior updates, and special instructions to the canine care team.

Team Collaboration

Work closely with the Operations Manager and canine care staff to ensure smooth communication and workflow.
Support staff during busy periods by helping with small dog playgroups or light operational tasks as needed.

Qualifications

Experience in customer service, reception, pet care, or administrative roles preferred.
Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm, friendly, and professional in a fast-paced environment.
Comfortable around dogs of all sizes; basic knowledge of dog behavior is a plus (training provided).
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace.
Experience with multi-line phone systems and excellent phone etiquette skills.
Tech-savvy with a willingness to learn scheduling and pet management software.

Physical Requirements

Ability to sit for extended periods and stand, bend, or move frequently throughout shifts.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and safely manage energetic dogs when needed.
