Looking for dedicated, passionate, and skilled candidate's to join our all-season resort as Housekeeping Manager.

This newly reimagined property offers banquet, wedding and event facilities. We are looking for candidate's who is both willing to roll up their sleeves and work hard and has a desire to produce a first-class experience for our guests. Looking for applicants who are positive, upbeat, team-oriented, and a people person.

Wylder is an ever growing hotel brand with a second location in Tilghman Maryland.

Qualifications

A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment

Refined verbal and written communication skills

Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds

2-3 years of progressive hotel housekeeping supervisor experience

Service oriented style with professional presentations skills

Responsibilities

* The Housekeeping manager is responsible for assisting in the oversight of the entire housekeeping area, to include public areas

* This requires a solid understanding of housekeeping and laundry supplies and pars and will assure all safety and security policies and procedures are followed

* Experience with turndown service, special needs of VIP Guests

* These responsibilities also include staff training, development and scheduling

* The Housekeeping Manager will promote an atmosphere that insures customer and associate satisfaction

* This position reports directly to the Director of Rooms and requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to effectively deal with guests, other departments and team members and ensure the highest levels of cleaning standards are implanted across the department.

* Obtains list of vacant rooms which need to be cleaned immediately and list of prospective check outs in order to prepare work assignments

* Assigns workers their duties, and inspects work for conformance to prescribed standards of cleanliness

* Advises manager or front desk of rooms ready for occupancy

* Inventories stock to ensure adequate supplies

* Investigates complaints regarding housekeeping service and equipment, and assists Rooms Director with corrective action.

* Examines rooms, halls, and lobbies to determine need for repairs or replacement of furniture or equipment, and makes recommendations to management

Requirements

* Prior housekeeping superving experience in a hotel, minimum one year

* Must be able to lift 30 or more pounds

* Must work weekends and holidays
