Full Job Description

The Opportunity:

Apply Solidworks Computer Aided Design ( CAD ) principles to support the design, analysis, manufacture, or maintenance of electro-mechanical systems. Apply specific functional, working, and general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance.

You Have:

3+ years of experience drafting or illustrating in the electronics field, including computerized drafting applications and digital imaging techniques
Experience with Solidworks 3-D modeling sof tware and planning and preparing graphic presentations of complex items
Ability to independently prepare sets of complex drawings and apply mathematical formulas
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

Experience with DoD processes and procedures
Possession of excellent creative problem-solving skills
Associate’s degree in Drafting and Design
Solidworks 3D Experience Creator Certification
Solidworks Certified Model Based Design ( CSWP-MDB ) Certification

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
