Tex-Air Filters is a fast-growing air filtration manufacturer and service provider serving many different industries across Texas. We operate in a recession-resistant industry focused on Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) in mission-critical environments.

Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable, physically capable HVAC Air Filter Installer to join our service team. This position involves traveling to commercial facilities to replace air filters and properly dispose of used filters.
When service jobs are not scheduled, team members will assist in the warehouse with order pulling, loading materials, and preparing deliveries.
This is hands-on, physical work — ideal for individuals who enjoy staying active, solving problems, and working in different environments daily.
This role has strong advancement potential. High performers can grow into a team lead position, overseeing crews of 2 and occasionally up to 4 individuals on job sites.
Physical Requirements
Applicants must be:
- Physically healthy and capable of sustained activity
- Comfortable going up and down ladders throughout the day
- Able to lift and carry 50+ lbs repeatedly
- Able to work in all safe weather conditions (heat, cold, outdoor mechanical yards, rooftops, etc.)
- Comfortable working in mechanical rooms and on rooftops
Responsibilities
- Replace HVAC air filters in commercial facilities
- Properly bag and dispose of used filters
- Follow safety protocols and PPE requirements
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Communicate professionally with facility managers and on-site personnel
- Complete service reports accurately
- Pull warehouse orders and stage materials when service calls are not scheduled
- Load and unload materials and equipment
Skills & Qualifications
- Mechanically inclined
- Comfortable using basic hand tools
- Enjoys figuring out solutions and solving problems
- Quick learner
- Strong communication skills
- Able to work well with others in a team environment
- Leadership potential and ability to take initiative
HVAC experience is preferred but not required. We will train the right candidate who is motivated, dependable, and eager to grow.
Background & Screening Requirements
- Must have a clean background
- Applicant will be required to pass a background check
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Background checks are required due to driving a company vehicle and working in schools, hospitals, and other secure job sites
Equipment & Travel
- Company box truck provided for travel to and from job sites
- All tools and safety equipment provided
