Job Duties

Under broad direction, responsible for facilitating global functional strategy through continuous improvement across various operations in a business.
Develops functional analytical approaches and applies proven structured process improvement techniques in support of product service line operations, country , or PSL support function strategy and value chain.
Aligns to strategy and leads efforts for establishing and sustaining improvement processes supporting a director or global operations manager and the associated value streams in the business.
Facilitates transfer of business applicable strategy and best practice continuous improvement processes.
Manages/partners to align resources addressing strategic projects or issues supporting the value streams across department and geographic separation.
Maintains awareness and aligns to company structure, industry trends and advances in management and systems.
Mentors and coaches product service line or regional leaders and personnel to promote and foster a thriving Continuous Improvement (Lean) culture, develop Continuous Improvement (Lean) competencies, and empower individuals throughout the organization to relentlessly pursue waste elimination, driving continuous improvement and maximizing customer value.
Evaluates the effectiveness of appropriate business level management systems, infrastructures and management processes.

Qualifications

Requires completion of an undergraduate degree in Engineering or similar discipline.
5-10 years experience in Lean 6 Sigma organization transformation in operations, manufacturing, and/or quality is preferred.

Candidates having qualifications that exceed the minimum job requirements will receive consideration for higher level roles given (1) their experience, (2) additional job requirements, and/or (3) business needs. Depending on education, experience, and skill level, a variety of job opportunities might be available, including Continuous Improvement Manager, or Continuous Improvement Senior Manager.
