JOB SUMMARY:
The Melt Molder operates and monitors melt molding equipment to produce polymer and plastic products that meet quality and production requirements. This role performs equipment setup, process adjustments, material handling, and basic troubleshooting while following established safety, quality, and operating procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Examine molds for debris, dirt and damage.

Follow work order instruction to load molds and material.

Keep molds clean.
Maintain good housekeeping in work area during and at end of shift.

REQUIREMENTS:
-
High school diploma or GED.

Must have clear understanding of basic math and can read, write and comprehend English (work orders, safety and operations instructions)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years’ experience in melt molding and manufacturing environment

Bilingual
WORK ENVIRONMENT & POTENTIAL HAZARDS:

Exposure to manufacturing environment preferred.

Spends 100% of time in the shop. Standing 90% of time.

May be exposed to possible shop hazards including heaving machinery, fumes, dust, heat and high pressure and temperatures.
