Premier Corporate Housing, a division of AKcorp, Inc. since 1974

We are a nationwide provider for corporate temporary housing. We provide the services (utilities, internet, etc.) along with apartment home furnishings to our clients in a simple one invoice solution. Our clients range from Fortune 500 companies (many oil & gas clients - considering Houston is our Headquarters) to individuals seeking treatment in the world renowned Medical Center.

Position Summary

The Business Operations Manager is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the organization while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, enhance customer service, and implement technology-driven solutions.

This position requires a highly organized professional with exceptional communication skills, sound business judgment, strong problem-solving abilities, and the initiative to continuously improve how work is performed.

The successful candidate will become a trusted operational partner to executive leadership and contribute to both strategic initiatives and day-to-day business operations.

Primary Responsibilities

Business Operations

Coordinate daily operational activities across multiple business functions.
Identify operational inefficiencies and implement practical improvements.
Develop, document, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Coordinate projects and ensure timely completion of assigned initiatives.
Analyze workflows and recommend improvements that increase efficiency and scalability.
Maintain accurate operational records and documentation.

Customer Experience

Serve as a primary point of contact for clients via telephone and email.
Deliver exceptional customer service with professionalism, responsiveness, and sound judgment.
Resolve client concerns while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Coordinate with apartment communities, vendors, and service providers nationwide.
Ensure consistent follow-up and timely communication throughout each client engagement.

Technology & Process Improvement

Identify repetitive business processes suitable for automation.
Utilize AI technologies and automation tools to improve operational efficiency.
Assist in developing, testing, documenting, and refining automated workflows.
Evaluate emerging technologies that improve productivity, accuracy, and customer service.
Continuously recommend process improvements that strengthen company operations.

Executive Operations Support

Support executive leadership with operational planning and strategic initiatives.
Prepare reports, business correspondence, presentations, and operational documentation.
Coordinate meetings, track action items, and ensure timely follow-up.
Assist with special projects and other operational responsibilities as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
Experience in business operations, operations management, project management, business administration, customer service, hospitality, relocation, corporate housing, or real estate.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Experience utilizing AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, or similar technologies in a business environment.
Experience improving operational workflows or implementing process improvements.
Experience working within a small business or entrepreneurial environment is preferred.
