APPRECIATE:

Ensure the delivery of excellent customer service by managing the daily restaurant operations
Monitor brand standards execution and adherence and direct hourly staff to achieve guest service standards in a clean and pleasant environment

MERITOCRATIC:

Develop and coach hourly employees on brand standards, corporate policies and procedures, and other guest-focused programs/activities to meet or exceed guest service standards
Bring employee relation issues, deviations from brand standards, and other guest issues to the attention of the General Manager; recommend and participate in the execution of corrective action as required

PRIDE:

Set an example for team members by working hard to implement shift plan and ensure swift and smooth production
Motivate shift team and assist with all front and back of house duties

LOYALTY:

Assist the General Manager by overseeing an assigned shift
Follows management cash handling, inventory, and other operational procedures as outlined in Burger King brand standards

EMPOWERED:

Address and resolve complaints and requests promptly and in a courteous manner
Work with the General Manager to attract, hire, onboard, and retain competitive hourly talent to meet staffing requirements and guest service standards

RESPECT:

Work to create and maintain an enjoyable and welcoming environment for our guests and employees
Willingness to assist others without being asked

As you can see, the Assistant Manager is a key leader and supports the General Manager to ensure guest satisfaction through managing the daily operations of a single restaurant. The Assistant Manager has full accountability for restaurant operations in the absence of the General Manager.
