Multiple Full Time Positions

Mon – Fri, 12pm-8pm

NYU Imaging is a growing network of outpatient Radiology facilities with 8 locations in Queens Long Island and Manhattan. We have state-of-the-art equipment and a friendly staff, and offer a warm environment where you can learn, grow and care for your friends and neighbors right in your own community. We are now seeking MRI Technologists to join the team at our Forest Hills location on a Full Time basis.

In this role, you will perform diagnostic MRI exams and assist other MRI professionals during a variety of procedures. This will include interacting with patients, taking histories, explaining procedures and positioning patients during those procedures. Additionally, you will be required to give patients injections as well as control the MRI equipment for specific sequences and be able to adjust transmitters and receivers into the computer systems. You will also mix contrasts as required, safely operate digital and CRM equipment, and handle related documentation and paperwork.

To qualify, candidates must possess certification from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology, New York State (Radiologic technology, Nuclear Medicine, Radiation Therapy) and ARRT Primary Certification/Registration. Basic Life Support Certification (BLS), Advance Certification in MRI and IV Contrast Certification must be obtained within 3 months of hire.

Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
