Senior Human Resources Professionals Needed

The Role:

As a Senior HR Consultant, you'll play a pivotal role in building and managing client relationships and providing expert guidance across various HR disciplines, from talent acquisition to leaves of absence, employee relations to policy development, benefits administration, training and much more. You'll assist clients with day-to-day HR operations and long-range HR strategy, as well as put your skills to use on various projects such as audits, compensation analysis, and employee surveys. Additionally, you will contribute to our business development goals and initiatives, further expanding your skill set. We are looking for an individual with HR Management experience including high level strategic, planning and organizational skills.

Requirements:

Experience: We prefer a minimum of 7-10 years in an HR role, with a minimum of 3-5 years in California in a management capacity, and a thorough understanding of HR principles and practices. Prior consulting experience a plus but not required.
Education: A college degree in HR, psychology, organizational development, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a college degree.
Labor Law Experience: An excellent understanding of California and Federal labor law. Multi-state labor law experience a plus.
Strategic Thinking: The ability to evaluate complex factors, understand company dynamics/culture and make solid, definable recommendations that contribute to short and long-term organizational success.
Tech Savvy: Extensive experience with HRIS platforms is required. Basic understanding of payroll systems such as ADP, Ceridian, Gusto, iSolved, Paychex, Paylocity, or Rippling, is preferred. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams, and other relevant software tools required.

Relationship Building: Your ability to proactively forge and nurture new connections will be crucial in fostering strong client relationships.
Communication Skills: Effective communication is key, both in written and verbal forms, to convey ideas and solutions clearly and concisely. You must have excellent communication skills and the ability to speak to diverse groups and individuals. Spanish language proficiency a plus but not required.
Adaptability and Independence: Thriving in a dynamic consulting environment and working effectively with minimal supervision are essential traits for success. You should be able to switch gears and adapt to multiple clients’ needs and styles, simultaneously.
Time and Project Management: You must be able to plan your time well to ensure effective and efficient workload management. Ability to conceptualize, actualize, and manage projects and workloads is mandatory.
Research Skills: Because we can’t know everything, you should possess the curiosity and drive to research the unknown, determine applicability, and apply that knowledge to relevant situations.
Travel Flexibility: Ability to travel across Southern California for client engagements is a requirement.
Job Type: Full-time, Exempt

Base Salary: $100,000 - $120,000. Your compensation package will be commensurate with your experience and expertise, including salary, with the ability to receive a discretionary bonus.

Schedule: Monday to Friday during regular work hours, usually 9:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., with early morning/evening hours and infrequent weekend work dictated by client needs.

Location: Consultants are required to work at our Irvine Corporate office when not at client sites.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
