Full Job Description

Position Summary
The Contract Paralegal supports our departments by assisting with the drafting, review, administration, and management of contracts and legal agreements. This role works closely with attorneys, procurement, sales, and finance to ensure contracts are accurately prepared, executed, tracked, and maintained in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Draft, review, revise, and format a variety of contracts and agreements using approved templates.
Assist attorneys with contract negotiations and redlining.
Review contract terms for completeness, consistency, and compliance with company standards.
Manage the contract lifecycle from request through execution and renewal.
Maintain contract databases and electronic document management systems.
Track key contract dates, including renewals, expirations, notices, and obligations.
Coordinate contract approvals and signature processes.
Prepare summaries of contract terms, risks, and obligations.
Conduct legal and factual research related to contractual matters.
Ensure executed agreements are accurately filed and maintained.
Support audits, compliance reviews, and regulatory requests.
Collaborate with internal business units to address contractual questions and requirements.

Required Qualifications

Associate degree, Paralegal Certificate, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
3+ years of contract administration, contract management, or paralegal experience.
Knowledge of contract law principles and contract management processes.
Experience reviewing and processing commercial agreements.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and contract management systems.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies, Business, or a related field.
Experience supporting corporate legal departments or in-house counsel.
Familiarity with procurement, vendor, SaaS, licensing, confidentiality, and service agreements.
Experience using Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Risk identification and issue spotting
Document management and recordkeeping
Strong written and verbal communication
Deadline management and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and handle confidential information
