Shifts Available: 6 AM - 2:30 PM, 2 PM - 10:30 PM, 10 PM - 6:30 AM; Weekends & Weekdays

Designed to equip mothers and partners with the capacity and the knowledge for a successful transition into parenthood, Ahma & Co offers a dedicated sanctuary and the round-the-clock resources to promote postpartum recovery and bonding with their newborn.
About the Role:
We have been growing quickly since opening in March of last year, and are looking to add passionate and committed members to join our team at the retreat and provide expert support for postpartum recovery and newborn care guidance to mothers and partners.
In this vital role, you will be providing real time emotional, physical, and educational support for families staying at the retreat. You will be working with Ahma & Co’s dynamic team of postnatal care experts, including doulas, newborn care specialists, lactation educators, and massage therapists.
This role would be ideal for a postpartum doula with a passion for inclusive, responsive, and evidence-based postpartum care to ensure a safe and comforting environment for our guests.
What We’re Looking For:
- Certification as a postpartum doula or 2+ years of equivalent experience as a doula
- Concrete and successful experience in supporting families during the postpartum period
- Familiarity with evidence-based postnatal care practices
- Knowledge of breastfeeding/lactation support preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Empathetic and patient, with a strong commitment to inclusive, responsive, and family-centered care
- Flexible and able to handle challenging situations and the unpredictable nature of birth work with grace and patience

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Personalized Family Support: Offer continuous emotional, physical, and educational support to mothers and their families. Tailor support based on individual family needs, preferences, and cultural backgrounds.
- Health & Wellness Guidance: Provide guidance on postnatal recovery, breastfeeding/ lactation, newborn care, and maternal mental health. Collaborate with our team of postpartum care experts and advocates to ensure comprehensive care.
