Full Job Description

Tree of Life Fertility Center/California Fertility Clinic is currently seeking to hire a full-time IVF Clinical Coordinator.

California Fertility Clinic (CFC) and Tree of Life Center (TLC), with locations on Miracle Mile in Los Angeles and in Tarzana, are boutique medical practices offering a full range of professional services to patients suffering from infertility. Our Board-certified Reproductive Endocrinologist coordinate a team that treats patients and couples in a supportive, VIP setting. The underlying philosophy is that the best chance to successfully have a healthy child occurs when high-level medical care is combined with genuine heartfelt emotional support. TLC and CFC therefore treats all patients as family, and welcomes patients into a special, caring, customized environment where our entire team focuses on helping each individual patient.

Job Responsibilities Include:

Meet and follow up with with potential patients and review treatment plans and expectations
Act as primary point of contact, guiding patients through each stage of fertility treatment
Schedule patient consultations, lab tests, ultrasound and other procedures related to treatment process
Prepare and maintain patient treatment calendar and consents
Educate patients on medications and self injection techniques
Perform prescription pre-authorizations.
Assist physicians with patient record review and documentation, as well as facilitate all patient orders for outside testing.
Assist clinical team with resolving conflicts and coordinate patient care with patient satisfaction in mind.
Assist in operating room during egg retrievals, embryo transfers, hysteroscopies, D&C’s, and all other on-site surgical procedures.
Maintains a cooperative relationship among health care teams by communicating information; responding to requests; building rapport; participating in team problem-solving methods. Maintains a calm and professional demeanor.

Requirements:

LVN degree or MA from an accredited program
Current CA license
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, innately compassionate, high emotional intelligence
Able to multi-task, manage a busy workload while remaining calm under pressure
Able to function well among team members as well as work well independently
Reliable and punctual, good work ethic
Knowledge of OSHA, FDA, HIPAA compliance
Current CPR/BLS/ACLS certification
Previous IVF coordinating experience

Hours: 8:00am - 4:30 pm Monday - Friday
On call responsibility for patient questions after-hours, in rotation with other clinical team members.
Weekend and holiday coverage as needed, within rotation
