Payne Nickles & Company is looking for a dependable, upbeat Part-Time Administrative Assistant to join our Sandusky office. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and takes pride in creating a welcoming, professional experience for clients and team members.

What You’ll Do:

As a Part-Time Administrative Assistant, you’ll play an important role in supporting our team and delivering exceptional client service.

You’ll help us:

Welcome clients and visitors with a friendly, professional attitude.

Answer and direct phone calls and assist with general client questions.

Adopt new technology and use it enhance the firm and client experience.

Schedule appointments and help keep calendars and meetings organized.

Generating and sharing firm reports.

Format, assemble, and package client documents—including tax returns, financial statements, and retirement plan reports—with accuracy and confidentiality.

Scan, file, and maintain client records electronically and physically.

Assist with client communications, mailings, and document delivery.

Help monitor and restock office supplies.

Keep shared spaces organized, polished, and ready for clients and team members.

Support firm events, marketing initiatives, and special projects.

Jump in wherever needed to help our busy office stay efficient and on track.

What We’re Looking For:

Someone who takes initiative and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves.

Proficient in technology – AI, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with Adobe Acrobat is a bonus.

A natural problem-solver with good judgment and a sense of discretion.

Comfortable working independently but happy to be part of a team.

Background Information:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Previous administrative, customer service, or office experience preferred.

Experience in accounting or another professional-services environment is helpful, but not required.
