Full Job Description

Ruesch Reeve Werrett & Jones, PLLC is seeking an ambitious attorney to join our growing team. Unlike a traditional salaried position, this opportunity offers 50% of all attorney fees collected on the matters you handle, providing exceptional earning potential for motivated attorneys.

Our primary need is for a civil litigation attorney, but we welcome attorneys with experience or interest in virtually any practice area. You'll have the opportunity to handle existing firm cases from day one, while also developing your own practice and client base over time.

This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who wants the stability of joining an established law firm without sacrificing the financial upside of building a successful practice.

Responsibilities

Manage an assigned caseload of existing firm matters.
Represent clients in hearings, mediations, depositions, arbitrations, and trials.
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, contracts, and legal memoranda.
Provide exceptional client service and maintain strong client relationships.
Develop additional business and referral relationships, if desired.
Collaborate with other attorneys while maintaining substantial independence in managing your cases.

Compensation

50% of all attorney fees collected on matters you handle.
Existing firm cases available for immediate assignment.
Unlimited earning potential.
No cap on compensation.

Qualifications

Licensed to practice law in Utah (or eligible for admission).
Strong writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
Ability to independently manage a caseload.
Civil litigation experience is required .
Self-motivated, professional, and committed to excellent client service.
