Full Job Description

Overview

We are growing! We have an outstanding opportunity for an experienced, motivated, hardworking, and driven Proactive Inside Sales Manager. We are seeking a strong individual with retail and out-bound sales leadership skills, to join our winning team and lead the business development efforts of our multi-state operations and sales staff.

This role will be responsible for maximizing our sales revenue through the current team of sales professionals, as well as expanding new customers. There is a tremendous opportunity for the right person to earn an excellent salary and bonus

Duties & Responsibilities:

Manage and schedule Inside Sales teams to ensure adequate staffing across our multi-state footprint.
Lead Inside Sales team to exceed monthly target sales.
Meet with Key Accounts, maintaining relationships, and negotiating and closing deals.
Find New Customers
Increase Outbound Sales Efforts
Provide training and direction for Inside Sales team day-to-day activities.
Improve existing store layouts, product merchandising and overall appearance and appeal of our showrooms.
Drive customer traffic through educational events on products and services, including open houses, customer appreciation lunches, etc.
Coordinate efforts with marketing team to establish a presence on Social Media.
Manage inventories to ensure adequate items are in-stock and turn rates achieved.
Handling and maintaining property management-related tasks such as HVAC, electrical, and building maintenance.
Conduct regular store visits and keep contact with store staff.
Review and approve time sheets and commissions for Inside Sales team.
Report weekly and monthly on team progress to management.
Travel may be required up to 50%.
Represent the company at trade association meetings to promote products.
Source & add new Product lines.
Direct sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals for each of the members of the sales team.
Control expenditures to stay within expense guidelines.

Qualifications/Skill Set

3 – 5 years of sales management. (Construction/parts sales industry is a plus).
Understanding of a business to business retail environment preferred.
Knowledge of construction and survey principles and the ability to apply those in a services environment, preferred but not required.
Strong leadership skills.
Strong in Microsoft Office programs, with an emphasis on Excel.
Exceptional organizational skills and detail oriented.
Good at multitasking.
Strong communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred but not required.
Bi-Lingual (English & Spanish) is a plus.

Experience:

Retail sales or retail sales management experience required - 3 year minimum
Rental Management/Parts Sales Leadership: 3 years (Preferred)
Land surveying or Construction: 3 year (Preferred)
Construction equipment or technology sales: 3 years (Preferred)
