Are you passionate about making a difference in the classroom? Teachers Now is hiring dependable and enthusiastic Long-Term and Short-Term Substitute Teachers to support local schools throughout Dallas, Fort Worth, Grand Prairie, Garland, and Euless, TX.

Whether you're an experienced educator, a retired teacher, or someone looking to make an impact in education, we'd love to have you on our team.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM (school hours may vary by campus)

What You'll Do

As a Substitute Teacher, you'll help ensure students continue learning in a structured and positive environment while their regular teacher is away.

Your responsibilities include:

Delivering instruction using teacher-provided lesson plans
Creating a safe, respectful, and engaging classroom environment
Managing classroom behavior and encouraging student participation
Supervising students throughout the school day
Taking attendance and maintaining accurate classroom records
Communicating with school administrators and staff as needed
Following district policies and campus procedures

What We're Looking For

Must meet the substitute teacher eligibility requirements of the assigned school district (minimum 60 Credit hours)
Previous experience working with children, tutoring, coaching, or in an educational setting is preferred but not required
Strong communication, classroom management, and organizational skills
Ability to adapt quickly to different grade levels, subjects, and classroom environments
Professional, dependable, and punctual with a positive attitude
Ability to follow lesson plans, school policies, and district procedures
Ability to successfully complete all required background checks and district onboarding requirements
Reliable transportation to and from assigned school campuses
Ability to remain standing, walking, and actively supervising students throughout the school day
Passion for supporting students and contributing to a positive learning environment
