At Power Kiosk, we're looking for an ambitious, analytical, and customer-focused professional to join our commercial team as an Associate Account Manager.

This role is designed for someone who enjoys solving problems, working with data, and building relationships—and wants to grow into managing a portfolio of commercial customers.

You'll work alongside experienced Account Managers, learning the commercial energy industry from the inside while supporting customer analytics, proposals, renewals, and strategic account management. As your knowledge and confidence grow, you'll begin participating in customer meetings, leading renewal opportunities, and ultimately managing your own book of business.

What You'll Do

As an Associate Account Manager, you'll play an important role in helping our customers make smarter energy decisions while supporting the continued growth of our commercial organization.

Responsibilities include:

Prepare customer analytics, benchmarking reports, and ad hoc business analyses.
Build customer profiles, pricing packages, and proposal materials for commercial energy procurement opportunities.
Assist with customer renewals, pricing strategies, and proposal development.
Support Account Managers in preparing for customer meetings, business reviews, and strategic account planning.
Maintain CRM data and ensure accurate pipeline visibility and customer reporting.
Develop recurring customer reports and dashboards that provide meaningful business insights.
Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to deliver accurate and timely proposals.
Identify opportunities to improve reporting, workflows, and operational efficiency.
Support strategic initiatives that help our commercial team continue to scale.

Your Career Path

This position is intentionally designed to develop future Account Managers.

First 90 Days

You'll learn the business.

Understand the commercial energy industry and Power Kiosk's platform.
Become proficient with our CRM, pricing tools, and proposal process.
Support customer reporting, analytics, and renewals.
Build relationships across our commercial organization.

6–12 Months

You'll become an indispensable member of the team.

Become the go-to resource for proposals, analytics, and customer reporting.
Participate in customer meetings alongside experienced Account Managers.
Improve proposal quality, turnaround time, and internal processes.
Begin owning smaller customer initiatives and renewal opportunities.

Beyond Year One

You'll transition from supporting customers to managing them.

As your experience grows, you'll begin:

Managing customer relationships.
Leading renewal discussions.
Presenting pricing recommendations and market insights.
Identifying opportunities to expand customer partnerships.
Building and managing your own portfolio as an Account Manager.

We're not looking for someone to stay an Associate forever. We're looking for someone excited to become our next great Account Manager.

What Success Looks Like

Within your first year, you'll:

Become the trusted resource our Account Management team relies on.
Improve the speed and accuracy of proposals and customer reporting.
Build reporting and operational processes that improve the efficiency of our commercial organization.
Contribute directly to customer retention and revenue growth.
Develop the confidence and expertise to begin managing customer relationships independently.

Success in this role is measured by your growth—not just your tasks. As you develop the skills to manage customer relationships and drive business results, you'll earn increasing ownership, responsibility, and opportunities to advance your career.

What We're Looking ForMinimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
2+ years of experience in account management, sales support, customer service, sales operations, marketing, or a similar business role.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Experience using CRM platforms such as HubSpot or Salesforce.
Knowledge of commercial sales processes.
Experience in retail energy, utilities, or another analytical B2B industry.
Experience creating customer reports, dashboards, or business analytics.
