Associate Optometrist – Family Eye Care & Dry Eye Specialty
We are a growing, independent optometry practice dedicated to providing personalized, patient-centered care to families throughout Southeast Idaho. We are seeking a dependable, compassionate Associate Optometrist to join our award-winning team and help expand our new and growing Dry Eye Clinic.
This is an excellent opportunity for an optometrist who enjoys caring for patients of all ages while developing additional expertise in dry eye diagnosis and treatment.
The Ideal Candidate
Our ideal associate has excellent clinical skills, a warm chairside manner, and a genuine desire to build lasting relationships with patients. Candidates should be comfortable providing comprehensive care for pediatric, adult, and senior populations.
Experience in dry eye care is welcomed but not required. We are looking for someone who is excited to learn, grow, and help develop this area of our practice.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive eye examinations and medical eye care
- Diagnose and manage ocular conditions for patients of all ages
- Educate patients clearly and compassionately about their eye health
- Evaluate and treat dry eye disease using modern diagnostic and treatment options
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on each patient’s needs
- Collaborate closely with doctors, technicians, opticians, and administrative staff
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records
- Deliver an exceptional patient experience at every visit
Practice Support
Our trained technicians complete most pretesting, including:
- Autorefraction
- Visual fields
- Fundus photography
- Visual acuities
- Intraocular pressures
Qualified team members also handle the majority of insurance and administrative responsibilities, allowing our doctors to focus on patient care, clinical decision-making, and meaningful patient relationships.
