Full Job Description

Are you looking to help children with special needs? Want work with awesome co-workers? Want to have a great office environment? Then this is the job for you!!

We offer flexible schedules that can work around your current schedule.
Ambitions of Idaho is currently seeking Intervention Specialist, who are also interested in having opportunities to work in the schools, to work with children with Developmental Disabilities who display challenging behaviors. Behavioral Intervention is provided directly to children ages 3-21 to decrease challenging behaviors and increase skills in communication, socialization, self-direction, independence and play. Behavioral Intervention is provided directly to children with Developmental Disabilities to decrease challenging behaviors and increase skills that will assist them in becoming more successful in the following settings: Community, Home and School Based.
Must have a Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services field.
Must have 1040 service hours working with children (a year of working with children) with developmental disabilities
Pass an Idaho State Criminal and background check, and have a valid drivers license with current car insurance.

Starting pay is based on qualifications and experience:

Intervention Technician ($20) - Must be actively working towards completing degree with transcripts containing 24 semester credits in a human service field. Limited to a 18 month provisional status.
Intervention Specialist ($23) - Must have a Bachelors degree in a human service field and 1,040 hours of supervised experience with individual's 3-21 years of age who demonstrate functional or behavioral needs. Can have a Evidence Base Model Certification or Behavioral Intervention Certificate
Intervention Professional ($26) - Must have a Masters degree in a human service field and 1,500 hours of relevant coursework or training, or both, in principles of child development, learning theory, positive behavior support techniques, dual diagnosis, psychology, education, or behavior analysis.

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
