Position Overview

A growing behavioral healthcare organization is confidentially seeking an experienced Program Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of an adolescent residential treatment program in the Coeur d’Alene/Spokane area.

The Program Manager will partner with clinical, nursing, education, direct-care, admissions, and administrative teams to maintain a safe, structured, and client-centered treatment environment. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with experience developing teams, managing program operations, and supporting adolescents within a behavioral health or residential setting.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the program’s daily operations and service-delivery standards.
Supervise, coach, and support program employees while promoting accountability and a positive workplace culture.
Coordinate across clinical, nursing, education, admissions, and direct-care teams to maintain continuity of care.
Assist with scheduling, staffing coverage, onboarding, training, and performance management.
Monitor program safety, organization, documentation, and compliance with applicable policies and regulations.
Participate in leadership meetings, treatment-team coordination, incident reviews, and quality-improvement initiatives.
Identify operational challenges and implement solutions that improve client care, communication, and program efficiency.
Respond effectively to behavioral escalations, staffing challenges, and other urgent program needs.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, behavioral health, healthcare administration, business administration, education, or a related field preferred.
Previous leadership or program-management experience in behavioral health, residential treatment, healthcare, or human services.
Experience working with adolescents, families, or vulnerable populations strongly preferred.
Familiarity with staff supervision, crisis response, regulatory compliance, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and team-development skills.
Ability to work on-site with schedule flexibility based on program needs.
Valid driver’s license and ability to satisfy all background and pre-employment requirements.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation starts at $60,000 annually, with final compensation determined based on experience and qualifications. A competitive benefits package is also available and will be discussed during the interview process.
