Overview
Join our dynamic culinary team as a Line Cook/Prep Cook and bring your passion for food to life in a fast-paced, energetic environment! As a key player in our kitchen, you will contribute to menu execution, ensure food safety standards are met, and help maintain a vibrant, efficient workspace. Whether you’re seasoned in fine dining or eager to expand your culinary skills, this position offers an exciting opportunity to grow and excel in the food industry.

Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications
Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, marinating, portioning, and plating to ensure timely service
Maintain high standards of food handling, safety, and sanitation throughout all kitchen activities
Support the kitchen team during busy service hours by efficiently managing multiple orders
Follow proper knife skills and cooking techniques to produce high-quality meals consistently
Help with menu planning ideas and suggest improvements based on customer feedback and seasonal ingredients
Ensure all food products are stored correctly and inventory levels are monitored regularly
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and storage areas in compliance with health regulations

Qualifications

Previous experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is highly desirable
Proven kitchen experience in restaurant or food service settings, especially in fine dining or catering environments
Strong knowledge of food safety protocols, food handling procedures, and sanitation standards
Skilled in food preparation, cooking methods, and meal assembly with excellent knife skills
Familiarity with menu planning and meal presentation techniques
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and servers
