Full Job Description

Castlerock Homes is a custom and spec home builder known for quality craftsmanship, thoughtful design, and exceptional client experiences. We’re looking for a detail-oriented, solutions-driven Operations Specialist to help keep our projects, people, and processes running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

Color Selections & Material Budgeting- Guide clients and team in selecting finishes and materials that align with design goals while staying within budget.
Take-Offs & Estimates- Perform material take-offs and estimating to support accurate budgeting and planning.
Day-to-Day Operations- Facilitate daily operations including managing emails, coordinating with vendors and subcontractors, ordering materials, creating purchase orders, and tracking deliveries.
Plan Reviews- Review construction plans and specifications for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with project goals.
Technical Writing & Reading- Produce clear, accurate documentation and reports. Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specs, and contracts.
QuickBooks- Assist in journal entries, account reconciliations, and audits against cash flow reports.
Process Improvement- Identify inefficiencies and help implement systems and tools that improve workflow and accuracy.

Requirements:

Office experience (in the construction industry a plus)
Currently working in QuickBooks with 3+ years experience
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong written and verbal communication
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Bonus Skills:

Experience with AI tools (e.g., Claude, Grok, Chatgbt) to improve workflows, documentation, or communication
Marketing experience including: SEO, Website design/management, Social media strategy and content creation
Familiarity with construction management software (Buildertrend, CoConstruct, Planswift, JobTread)

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
