Farmers Fresh Bar & Grill is looking for an experienced Kitchen Manager who is more than just a great cook—we're looking for a leader with vision. This role is for someone who enjoys building teams, improving systems, creating new ideas, and taking pride in delivering an exceptional dining experience every day.

We're looking for someone who can inspire a team, bring fresh ideas to the table, and help shape the future of our restaurant while maintaining the small-town hospitality our guests know and love.

What You'll Do

Lead, coach, and develop the back-of-house team through positive leadership and accountability.
Create a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
Oversee all daily kitchen operations to ensure quality, consistency, cleanliness, and efficiency.
Develop new menu ideas, seasonal features, and creative specials.
Monitor food quality, presentation, and portion consistency.
Manage inventory, ordering, food costs, and waste reduction.
Build schedules that support business needs while maximizing labor efficiency.
Recruit, interview, hire, and train kitchen staff.
Maintain all health, sanitation, and food safety standards.
Work closely with ownership and management to help grow the restaurant through new ideas and operational improvements.
Step into the kitchen and lead by example during busy service periods.

What We're Looking For

Previous experience as a Kitchen Manager, Executive Chef, Sous Chef, or similar leadership role.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and hold a team accountable.
A passion for creating great food and memorable guest experiences.
Someone who brings ideas—not excuses—and enjoys finding ways to improve operations.
Experience with inventory management, food costing, ordering, and labor management.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while remaining calm under pressure.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices (ServSafe certification is a plus).
