Full Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee our company's daily operations and drive efficiency and productivity. The ideal candidate will have a strong leadership, sales, along with experience in the restoration and/or construction industry. As an Operations Manager, you will manage a team, implement strategic plans, and ensure the business's profitability. This role include commission.

Operations Manager Responsibilities:

· Manage employees, implement procedures, and hold key personnel accountable.

· Responsible for helping to achieve company goals.

· Respond to property damage emergency calls when required.

· Plan, organize and manage crews and subcontractors.

· Establish and maintain client relationships.

· Attend or run appropriate company meetings.

· Handle all inquiries for the team and demonstrate a high level of problem-solving resolution and technical assistance.

· Responsible for mentoring, coaching, and developing employees, recognizing strengths and weaknesses, and developing their skills and abilities.

Qualifications

Industry Experience: Minimum 5 years in restoration, construction, or related field with at least 2 years in a leadership or operations role.
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with IICRC standards, mitigation protocols, reconstruction workflows, and insurance processes. Certifications such as WRT, ASD, FSRT, AMRT are highly preferred.
Project Management Skills: Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, allocate resources efficiently, and meet deadlines and budgets.
Leadership & Team Development: Strong track record of hiring, training, and mentoring field and office staff. Able to foster a culture of accountability, safety, and customer service.
Software Proficiency: Experience with restoration platforms (e.g., Xactimate, DASH, Encircle), scheduling tools, and CRM systems.
Communication & Client Relations: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Capable of resolving conflicts, managing client expectations, and collaborating with adjusters and vendors.
Accounting & Budgeting Expertise Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. Able to manage P&L statements, cash flow, and cost controls across multiple projects.
