Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Hospice Account Sales Representative and become a vital driver of compassionate care and community engagement. In this energetic role, you will leverage your expertise in outside sales, business development, and territory management to build meaningful relationships with healthcare providers, community organizations, and potential referral sources. Your proactive approach will help expand access to hospice services, ensuring patients and families receive the support they need during life's most challenging moments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine sales acumen with a heartfelt mission to improve quality of life for those in need.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategic sales plans to identify and secure new referral sources within assigned territories.
Conduct engaging product demonstrations and presentations to healthcare professionals, emphasizing the value and benefits of hospice care services.
Manage existing accounts with a focus on retention, upselling additional services, and fostering long-term partnerships.
Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track leads, manage customer interactions, and analyze sales data for continuous improvement.
Generate leads through cold calling, networking events, community outreach, and marketing initiatives to expand the referral network.
Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate marketing efforts, develop territory-specific strategies, and optimize sales processes.
Negotiate contracts and service agreements professionally while maintaining a customer-first approach that prioritizes patient needs.

Qualifications

Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or healthcare-related technical sales with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
Demonstrated success in territory management, lead generation, and account management within a healthcare or service-oriented industry.
Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce or other CRM tools for managing customer relationships and sales pipelines.
Excellent negotiation skills combined with exceptional customer service abilities to build trust and rapport with diverse stakeholders.
Strong analysis skills to interpret market data, identify opportunities, and develop tailored sales strategies.
Ability to conduct compelling product demos and presentations that clearly communicate value propositions.
Knowledge of healthcare marketing practices, inside/outside sales techniques, and experience in retail or direct sales environments is a plus.
