ZHKICKS is the #1 live seller of sneakers on TikTok Shop, also selling on Whatnot, shipping high volumes of packages every day out of our Woodridge warehouse. We’re a fast-growing, founder-led e-commerce business, and our on-camera hosts are the heart of everything we do. Position Summary
ZHKICKS is looking for an outgoing, high-energy Ecommerce Streamer to host live sneaker sales on TikTok Shop and Whatnot. This is an entry-level, on-camera role. No sales or streaming experience is required. What matters is personality: you’re someone who lights up talking to people, thinks fast, has fun on camera, and genuinely enjoys building a rapport with a chat full of strangers in real time.
This is not a behind-the-scenes job. You will be live, on camera, for the majority of your shift, hyping up product, reading and responding to chat, and turning viewers into customers and regulars into fans.
Key Responsibilities
Live Streaming and Sales
- Host live sneaker-selling streams on TikTok Shop and Whatnot for the duration of your shift.
- Present product with energy and enthusiasm: sizing, condition, story, styling, whatever gets a viewer excited to buy.
- Drive sales in real time by creating urgency, running promotions, and reacting live to what the chat responds to.
- Keep the pace of the stream high; dead air loses viewers.
Community and Customer Engagement
- Read and respond to live chat continuously, calling out viewers by name/handle, answering questions, and keeping the energy interactive rather than one-directional.
- Build genuine, ongoing relationships with regular viewers so they come back to your streams specifically.
- Represent the ZHKICKS brand voice: fun, authentic, and approachable, never scripted or flat.
- Handle occasional difficult or negative chat comments with composure and stay upbeat.
Product Knowledge and Presentation
- Learn ZHKICKS’s inventory, including sizing, brands, and current trends in sneaker and streetwear culture.
- Work with the picker/packer/restocker on your shift to keep product moving smoothly through the stream.
- Stay current on what’s trending on TikTok and in sneaker culture, and bring that energy into your streams.
Team Collaboration
- Coordinate with your dedicated picker, packer, and restocker to keep inventory flowing and orders accurate during live streams.
- Communicate stock issues, popular items, or customer questions to the team in real time.
- Show up on time and stream-ready for your scheduled shift; consistency matters as much as charisma.
Qualifications
- No prior streaming, sales, or warehouse experience required. This is an entry-level position.
- Outgoing, high-energy personality with genuine enthusiasm for talking to people on camera.
- Comfortable being on camera for extended periods and thinking on your feet in an unscripted, live environment.
- Interest in sneakers, streetwear, or fashion is a strong plus.
- Reliable and punctual, with the flexibility to commit to a regular shift schedule.
- Comfortable with a fast-paced, still-evolving startup environment.
Physical and Scheduling Requirements
- Ability to work on-site at the Woodridge facility for your full scheduled shift.
- Ability to stand, move, and stay energetic on camera for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and move shoes and product up to 25 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Available for one of the following: first shift (7:30 AM – 4:00 PM), second shift (4:00 PM – Midnight), or a 4-hour part-time shift, which is a great fit for high school or community college students.
What Success Looks Like
Within the first month, you’ll be comfortable running a live solo, building a rapport with regular viewers, and contributing directly to stream sales. Within six months, you’ll have a following of your own within the ZHKICKS audience and be a go-to face of the brand.
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
