Earn Supplemental Income Teaching Safety Classes

Looking for a flexible opportunity to earn extra income on your days off?

BOSS Corporation is seeking firefighters, EMTs, paramedics, nurses, and other experienced professionals to teach workplace safety training throughout the Chicagoland area.

This is a flexible 1099 contractor position that allows you to maintain your current career while accepting teaching assignments based on your availability. Most instructors teach a 5-10 days per month, making this an excellent opportunity for professionals seeking supplemental income.

What You'll Do

Teach engaging, hands-on safety training classes at customer locations throughout the Chicagoland area.

Topics may include:

CPR, AED & First Aid
Fire Extinguisher Training
Forklift / Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Training
Scissor Lift & Boom Lift (MEWP) Training
OSHA Safety Training
Lockout / Tagout (LOTO)
Machine Safeguarding
Emergency Response & Workplace Safety Topics

Our instructors are expected to engage participants, share real-world experience, answer questions, and create a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

Successful candidates typically possess:

Training and support are provided for qualified instructors.

Flexible Scheduling

This position is designed for working professionals.

You choose when you're available to accept assignments. Most classes are scheduled Monday through Friday between 7:30 AM and 5:00 PM.

Many of our instructors work full-time careers as firefighters, paramedics, nurses, safety professionals, and trainers while teaching classes on select days throughout the month.

Compensation

$55-$75 per instructional hour based on experience and credentials
